Sadarilah bahwa pikiran anda memerlukan istirahat. Tidak cukup hanya dengan tidur. Anda perlu tidur dalam keadaan terbangun. Merenunglah dan dapatkan ketentraman batin.
Pikiran yang digunakan itu bagaikan air sabun yang diaduk dalam sebuah gelas kaca. Semakin banyak sabun yang tercampur semakin keruh air. Semakin cepat anda mengaduk semakin kencang pusaran. Merenung adalah menghentikan adukan. Dan membiarkan air berputar perlahan. Perhatikan partikel sabun turun satu persatu, menyentuh dasar gelas. Benar-benar perlahan. Tanpa suara. Bahkan anda mampu mendengar luruhnya partikel sabun. Kini anda mendapatkan air jernih tersisa di permukaan. Bukankah air yang jernih mampu meneruskan cahaya. Demikian halnya dengan pikiran anda yang bening.
